The energy management section is responsible for developing and maintaining programs and projects related to the conservation of energy. These measures are initiated to reduce costs associated with gas, electricity, and water, as well as solid waste management and recycling. This section develops annual and periodic energy utilization statements for the associate superintendent, and prepares and submits all documentation related to DOE/CEC/PGE grant/loan customized and direct rebate programs. This section also prepares all energy projections and proposals, and provides energy/EMS training for site staff.
