"GT World is an online support community for parents of Gifted and Talented children. Others interested in supporting and nurturing gifted and talented children are also most welcome." They have a mailing list for parents of gifted and talented children.

Hoagies' Gifted Education Page "Hoagies' page is an organized resource listing for parents of gifted children, including topics like gifted girls, gifted LD, profoundly gifted, educational options, and lots more. It includes links to local and global gifted organizations for several countries, including the U.S., Canada, U.K. and Australia, plus a list of conferences on gifted topics."

National Network of Families with Gifted Children (NNFGC)

A group of parents from across the US have formed the National Network of Families with Gifted Children. The mission of this virtual network is: "To educate the public regarding the unique social, emotional, and intellectual needs of gifted youth and to seek educational opportunities and supports to meet those needs."

Dues are free. There is currently an announcement-only e-mail list which provides: 1. Alerts and Updates on the federal funding legislation for gifted now before Congress, 2. Tools for effective Advocacy. Interested individuals may subscribe to the email list via the NNFGC web site.

Additional information about the federal funding legislation and tips for writing and contacting Members of Congress may be found on the website.

The NNFGC is working with the National Association for Gifted Children and the Council for Exceptional Children to ensure the passage of this important legislation.
