CLASS INFORMATION

AERIES

Basic Overview	Aeries beginning class: includes logon, navigation, viewing and printing reports, summary of Aeries components. Duration 3 hrs.	None	All new Aeries users.
Enrollment: Elementary	Enrolling elementary new or transferring elementary students. Includes MDUSD enrollment procedures. Duration 2 hrs.	Basic Overview	All elementary office staff involved with enrollment.
Enrollment: Secondary	Enrolling elementary new or transferring secondary students. Includes MDUSD enrollment procedures. Duration 2 hrs.	Basic Overview	All secondary office staff involved with enrollment.
Grade Reporting	Collecting, printing and distributing report cards. Duration 2 hrs.	Basic Overview	Secondary clerical staff assigned to grade reporting duties
Query: Basic	Overview of Aeries query capabilities. Learn how to create simple queries. Duration 2 hrs.	Basic Overview	All Aeries users: new to queries or needing a refresher.
Query: Intermediate	Builds upon basic query skills to include more complicated queries, additional query capabilities such as "SKIP" and "KEEP". Duration 2 hrs.	Query: Basic	Any Aeries user who expects to create queries.
Query: Advanced	Extends query skills to include queries using multiple tables. Duration 2 hrs.	Query: Intermediate	Aeries "power users" who need to use Query regularly.
Query for Master Schedulers	Query skills tailored specifically to the needs of secondary master schedulers. Simple and complex queries to assist with identifying groups of students for mass-adds and reviewing schedule results. Must have already taken Intermediate Query class. Duration 2 hrs.	Query: Intermediate	Secondary master schedulers.
ABI Administration	Adding and editing ABI users at the school level. Assigning users to groups for special purposes. Understanding how HomeLink works.	Basic Overview	One or two administrative or clerical office staff at each school that have been assigned as "ABI Administrator".
Aeries.Net for Administrators	Aeries.Net is a web-based version of Aeries that will allow an administrator to work in Aeries from anywhere with an Internet connection. This class will provide instruction in logging in, navigation, performing simple Aeries tasks, viewing and printing reports and performing simple queries. Duration 2 hrs.	Basic Overview	School site administrators.
Aeries Attendance	Updates and review of the Attendance Cycle including Attendance Letters, saving to Word, ABI attendance, reports, addresses, residence school, IT field, contacts, overflows, street table, and more.	Basic Overview	School site attendance clerks.
Aeries Grade Book	A overview of the grade book features in Aeries, including how to create a grade book, adding students, creating assignments and entering scores.	None	Secondary Teachers

Copy PO

New District policies do not allow to re-open or re-print PO's from previous Fiscal Year and we need tools that will help us to save time. In this class you will learn to use POMACP tool. POMACP will copy an existent PO into a new one.

SCHOOL MESSENGER

SCHOOL LOOP

School Loop Web Site Creation	Using School Loop to create a school web site. Includes design and setup, editing, creating user accounts, adding home pages for teachers.	Strong computer software skills.	ONLY for someone who has been assigned to be a school webmaster by a school principal. Must have approval of principal in order to attend.
