The Research and Evaluation Department is responsible for all state-mandated assessment and accountability programs:
- Standardized Testing and Reporting (STAR)
- California High School Exit Exam (CAHSEE)
- California English Language Development Test (CELDT)
- Physical Fitness Testing
- Academic Performance Index (API)
- Adequate Yearly Progress (AYP)
Some other departmental responsibilities include: Reading Assessment Program (RAP), Advanced Placement (AP) Testing, School Accountability Report Card (SARC), enrollment projections, CBEDS.
