PUBLIC NOTICE
(Proposed Solar Facilities Contract)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on October 26, 2010 at 7:30 p.m. or as soon thereafter as practicable at its regularly scheduled meeting of the Board of Trustees of Mount Diablo Unified School District, which will be held at 1936 Carlotta Drive, Concord, CA, the Board will consider for approval a resolution formally adopting findings required by Government Code section 4217.10
et seq. regarding anticipated energy cost savings and other benefits from entering into the Design-Build Contract -- Photovoltaic Systems with SunPower Corporation, Systems ("SunPower"), under which SunPower will design, construct and install 51 solar facilities at school sites throughout the district. The resolution and supporting documents will be on the regular Agenda for public comment and proposed action.
