Clayton Valley Charter Update
The Board of Education will hold a mandatory public hearing on the Clayton Valley Charter petition on Tuesday, August 9th. No Board action will be taken during this meeting. Members of the public are encouraged to attend the meeting to voice their support, ask questions, or share concerns about the charter proposal. Please note that the Board and staff will not engage in a dialogue with the public at this meeting. The public hearing will be held in the multi-purpose room at Monte Gardens Elementary beginning at 5:45 p.m. with a 15 minute presentation from the charter petitioners and up to one hour for the Board to hear public comment. This meeting will end promptly at 7:00 p.m. so that Board may enter into closed session for the regularly scheduled Board meeting.
