Mt. Diablo Unified’s Annual Adult Education Open House provides opportunity to tour classrooms, meet instructors and be inspired!

WHAT:  MDUSD Adult Education Program Annual Open House and Arts & Crafts Sale

WHEN:  Saturday, December 3, 2016

WHERE:  Pleasant Hill Adult Education Center, One Santa Barbara Road, Pleasant Hill, 94523, (925) 937-1530 (From Oak Park Boulevard, attendees can turn at the signal light by the library and follow the signs.)

BACKGROUND:  The phrase “Never stop learning because life never stops teaching” speaks perfectly to our philosophy around our Adult Education programs. From mastering a technical skill to learning a second language to uncovering artistic talents, and from the cute (our parent education/preschool program) to the courageous (adults recovering from head injuries who re-learn and re-master important life skills), Mt. Diablo Adult Education offers it all.

In addition to traditional offerings such as high school diploma equivalency and English as a Second Language classes, MDUSD Adult Education also offers highly-regarded Medical Assistant and Surgical Technician training programs. We have extensive recreational and special interest offerings, including visual arts, culinary, dance, and finance. Read our Adult Education Fall Program to see course offerings.

The annual Open House and Arts & Crafts Fair offers attendees opportunities to tour classrooms to see demonstrations and meet with instructors, chat with and observe students, and purchase some beautiful handcrafted gifts and artwork.  Attendees will also be able to pre-register for winter classes.
