Board of Education Informational Item 12/12/2016 about Criteria for District Separation

There has  been a lot of discussion within our community about a feeder pattern within our school district separating and forming an independent five-school district.  At our Board of Education meeting on Monday, December 12, we will have an informational item on the nine criteria necessary for any district separation.  The meeting agenda is posted here.  This information item, #20.13 “Criteria for Separation of Five K-12 Schools from a Unified School District” is available here.  The item will include some preliminary information on the impact a separation would have on programs at the five schools proposed for a new district.

All regular MDUSD Board of Education meetings take place at the Dent Center, 1936 Carlotta Dr., Concord.  Open session begins at 7 p.m.
