“Emotions” theme at student art exhibit at Northgate High School

Exhibit to raise awareness of benefits of arts therapy for depression and other issues

WHAT:  Student art exhibit with “emotions” theme  

 

WHEN:  Friday, April 21, from 5-8 p.m.

 

WHERE:  Northgate High School , 425 Castle Rd., Walnut Creek, 94598   (Get Directions)

BACKGROUND:  Northgate High School student artblue linkist Joseph Garcia has curated a collection of student artwork, focusing on the theme of “Emotions”, as part of a senior project and to raise awareness of the benefits of arts therapy for people dealing with depression and other emotional or mental health issues.  The displayed pieces range in medium from digital photography to watercolor to oils and pencil drawings.  The event is open to the public. 

 

The event will be held at Northgate High School, 425 Castle Rock Rd., Walnut Creek., beginning at 5 p.m. this evening. pink artThe event is open to the public.
