We will begin accepting applications for Special Education Extended School Year
2012 - 2013 in March, 2013. To obtain a job announcement with more detailed information about specific positions, click on the appropriate link below, or you can email us at the address above for further information.
Extended School Year positions are filled first by permanent MDUSD employees. If you are an outside applicant, you will need to complete the Extended School Year application and submit that application, along with the regular Classified Application. Furthermore, as an outside candidate, you will need to pass the test for the appropriate position you are applying for, as well as provide a negative TB test and pass fingerprinting, prior to being able to work during the Extended School Year.

Click here to download a Classified Application. This must be submitted with an Extended School Year position-specific application for all non-MDUSD employees. These applications may be sent via US Mail or hand-delivered to Personnel Services. We do not accept applications via email.
A separate application form must be submitted for each position for which you are applying. Resumes and other documentation can be attached but may not be substituted for the official Mt. Diablo Unified School District application form. Some positions also may require a supplemental application.
All applications must be filed in the Personnel Office, 1936 Carlotta Drive, Concord, CA 94519-1397, no later than 4:00 p.m. on the final filing date listed on the job announcement bulletin. Late applications and incomplete application packets will be disqualified. The applicant is responsible for assuring that a mailed application is received in the Personnel Office by the filing deadline. Do not send applications to or contact the hiring department; inquiries are to be directed to the Personnel Office only.
