Instructions for Local Charities and Non-Profit Agencies

The Mt. Diablo Unified School District has surplus equipment, furniture and supplies, as listed on our website, available to local charities and non-profit agencies.  To be able to have access to these items, your organization needs only to send a letter on your letterhead to the Mt. Diablo Unified School District Purchasing Director to requesting to be placed on a list of identified donees.

Once your letterhead is on file, you can request items for pickup by your organization by faxing or mailing a letter to our Purchasing Department indicating the requested items.  To avoid confusion, be sure to list the inventory number with the quantity and description when listing the items.  Also, include a contact and phone number of your organization so we can contact you when the items are ready.
