EL Assessment Center
Welcome to the MDUSD English Learner Assessment Center!
Here at the EL Assessment Center we are excited to welcome new secondary students to our district. We serve students whose native language is other than English in grades 6-12 at all of the middle and high schools in the district. We administer the following tests to ensure proper placement in programs and classes at individual school sites: primary language tests; ELPAC (English Language Proficiency Assessments of California ); textbook placement tests for Inside and Edge; and a general math placement test. We are committed to proper placement as well as accurate data collection regarding our English Learners.
