African American Parent Advisory Council (AAPAC) Family Back to School Night is Thursday, Sept. 10 in Bay Point
MDUSD’s African American Parent Advisory Council (AAPAC) Family Back-to-School Night is at 6 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 10 at Gateway High School, 235 Pacifica Ave. in Bay Point.
This special evening is designed to welcome, connect, and empower African American students and families throughout MDUSD (LCAP Goal #4).
Families will receive valuable information and resources focused on:
- Attendance — Supporting consistent attendance and student success
- Academics — Helping students thrive academically
- Advocacy — Equipping families to advocate effectively for their children
- Family Engagement — Strengthening partnerships between families, schools, and our community
Families will also enjoy food, activities, prizes, and opportunities to connect with parents, educators, and MDUSD community members.
Admission is free, and all are welcome.
