Middle and High School Parents/Guardians invited to Virtual CaliforniaColleges.edu Information Night on Sept. 14th

Mt. Diablo Unified School District is excited to enter into our third year of partnership with the California College Guidance Initiative (CCGI), with the objective of helping our students develop well-informed post secondary plans and pathways to achieve them. 

CCGI is a statewide nonprofit organization that works with school districts throughout California by providing a free college and career planning platform, CaliforniaColleges.edu. This online platform offers 6th-12th grade students, families and educators access to college and career readiness tools, assessments, college and financial aid applications and a wide variety of information to help students plan for their future after high school. 

We invite parents and guardians of 6th-12th grade students to join us for a virtual meeting, on Monday, September 14th from 5:30-6:30 p.m., to learn more about CaliforniaColleges.edu. Scan the QR code in the flyer or join using the Google Meet link.

During the event, families can look forward to: 

• Hearing an overview of CaliforniaColleges.edu. 
• Discovering how MDUSD students are using the platform to plan for their futures. 
• Learning how to set up a parent account and exploring the tools available to support your child.
