The Mt. Diablo Unified School District (MDUSD) Transportation Pathway is a specialized Career Technical Education (CTE) program designed to equip high school students with the skills and knowledge necessary for careers in the automotive and transportation industries. Offered at Concord High School and Mt. Diablo High School, the program begins with foundational auto tech skills in the first year, progressing to advanced diagnostics and repair techniques in the second year. Students gain hands-on experience using state-of-the-art tools and technologies, aligning their learning with current industry standards. MDUSD collaborates with local businesses and community colleges, such as Los Medanos College, to provide students with opportunities for internships, site visits, and potential college credit, thereby enhancing their readiness for both higher education and immediate employment in the automotive sector.
