Instructional Programs

One-Way Dual Language Programs are located at Cambridge and Meadow Homes Elementary Schools. Parents interested in having their children attend the  One-Way Dual Language Program must apply for an Intradistrict transfer during the transfer period. Select the Enrollment Priority #6 Academic Programs when applying for this transfer. The transfers are approved based on program and classroom space availability at the requested schools.

Two-Way Dual Language Programs are located at Bancroft, Shore Acres and Ygnacio Valley Elementary Schools and Holbrook Language Academy (TK-8).  Parents interested in having their children attend the Two-Way Dual Language Program must apply for an Intradistrict transfer during the transfer period. Select the Enrollment Priority #6 Academic Programs when applying for this transfer. The transfers are approved based on program and classroom space availability at the requested schools.

Middle School Spanish Language Arts is offered at Foothill, Oak Grove, Riverview and Holbrook Language Academy.  Spanish Language Arts is a class not a program, therefore,  an Intradistrict transfer based on an Academic Program is only required for Holbrook Language Academy.  Transfers to Foothill, Oak Grove and Riverview must be based on other applicable enrollment priorities. Transfers are approved based on classroom space at the requested schools.

High Schools do not offer the Dual Language Programs, only language classes. Transfers to high schools must be done during the transfer period based on other applicable enrollment priorities.  Transfers are approved based on classroom space at the requested schools
