Mentors help to welcome students to the first day of school

TISP Orientation (Teachers will be paid for their attendance)
Mentors & Coordinators provide an Introduction to MDUSD TISP
Choice of Tuesday, August 22 or Wednesday, August 23 3:45-4:45

Mentor / Participating Teacher Pairing
Mentors reach out to schedule individual meetings with participating teachers
Friday, August 25 (Ongoing throughout the year as needed)

TISP Enrollment
Participating teachers complete the TISP Agreement to enroll in the program
August 28-September 1 (Ongoing throughout the year as needed)

Creating an Equitable Classroom (Substitute coverage will be paid by MDUSD)
A professional development day for all Induction and pre-credentialed teachers who want to enhance a positive classroom environment. See flyer for more details.

Networking, Support and Enrichment for Teachers (Fall NEST)
An interactive opportunity for all Induction and pre-credentialed teachers to collaborate with colleagues, sharing/learn best practices and support one another in improving teaching. Topics will be determined by the needs of participants.

ILP Goal Deadline
30 days from enrollment. For those enrolling during the week of August 28-September 1 (most participating teachers), the deadline falls within October 27-29.

Mid-Year ILP Review
TISP ILP Review Panels convene to review all ILPs and provide written feedback. No TISP meetings are held during this week.
January 22-26, 2024

An interactive opportunity for all Induction and pre-credentialed teachers to collaborate with colleagues, sharing/learn best practices and support one another in improving teaching. Topics will be determined by the needs of participants.

End-Year ILP Review
TISP ILP Review Panels convene to review all ILPs and provide written feedback. No TISP meetings are held during this week.
May 6-10

Colloquium
The Mt. Diablo Unified School District Teacher Induction and Support Program
Colloquium is an opportunity for all participating teachers who have completed the
requirements of TISP to come together in celebration of professional learning, goals
accomplished, and progress towards mastery of the California Standards for the
Teaching Profession. During Colloquium, participating teachers will have the
opportunity to engage in reflective conversation with their peers on the professional
learning obtained over the course of Induction. It is an opportunity to celebrate your
many accomplishments!
