What is a Classified School Employee?
Classified staff are employees of a school, district, or county office of education who are in a position not requiring certification. Classified staff include paraprofessionals, office/clerical staff, as well as other classified staff, such as custodians, bus drivers, and business managers.
What is ESS?ESS is a nationwide organization that partners with over 900 school districts to provide staffing solutions for substitute and support roles. They will be assisting MDUSD in filling vacancies for SEAs, Instructional Assistants (IAs), Campus Supervisors, and Noon Supervisors.
