Eligibility

To be eligible to participate in TISP, you must:

• Hold a Preliminary Multiple Subject, Single Subject, or Education Specialist Teaching Credential, (including internationally prepared teachers), or
• Hold an out-of-state teaching credential with less than two years  of experience
• Be employed in a teaching position by Mount Diablo Unified School District*
• Serve as the teacher of record for at least one class in the subject area specified by the preliminary credential
• Enroll in the program prior to October 1 of the school year in which you hope to participate

*Private and charter school teachers within MDUSD boundaries may be served by TISP if space is available. If accepted, the participating teacher is responsible for the cost of the program, which may be covered by the employing school. If space is not available, please contact the Contra Costa County Office of Education Induction Program.
