Focal Scholar Program

This program is designed to provide students listed in our LCAP 4 goal with comprehensive support in various areas.

Program Overview 

The Focal Scholar Program focuses on:

• Academics: Providing additional resources including tutoring and Tier 2 intervention to help students excel in their studies.
• Attendance: Encouraging regular attendance through personalized support and interventions.
• Grades: Monitoring and assisting with grade improvement strategies/interventions.
• Counseling: Group and 1-1 resources.
• Mentoring Social Emotional Learning: Developing students' social and emotional skills through targeted activities and support.
• Secondary students are offered opportunities to participate in college/career-based fairs, summits and tours.
