Newcomer & Refugee Students

At Mt. Diablo Unified School District, we understand that schools are often one of the first places newcomer students and families connect to their new community. Through the SOAR Office, we provide guidance, resources, and support to help students feel safe, welcomed, and successful in school and beyond.

Our goal is to help every student and family feel a sense of belonging and thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.
