Updated 2021-22 COVID-19 Student Guidelines
Posted 8/11/21

The Mt. Diablo Unified School District has posted updated 2021-22 COVID-19 Student Guidelines on its website, based on the most current information it has received from Contra Costa Health Services and the California Department of Public Health (CDPH).

The updated guidelines include:

  • a chart that shows the steps K-12 students should take if they come into close contact with someone who tests positive for COVID-19, based on their vaccination status; and
  • written guidelines that describe the steps students should take if they have COVID-19 symptoms or come into close contact with someone who has COVID-19.

The updated guidelines can be found HERE and are also posted on the district website Home Page and COVID-19 Response page.

This information is in addition to a 2021-22 FAQ that was posted July 30 and CDPH Guidance. The district will continue to update the community based on the guidance it receives from the county and the state.
